A PA-22/20 RESTORATION PROJECT

REVIVE

THE

PA-22/20

Manufactured in 1959 by Piper, the PA-22/20 was originally built as a Tri-Pacer with nose gear. Through approved STCs the plane gave up its nose gear for a tail wheel making it a PA-20.

Enjoying a life of towing banners and private flying the plane was mothballed in 2000. In 2008 EAA Chapter 240 purchased the plane from longtime owner and Chapter member Bobby Barnet.
